Join us for a trail ride at the historic Salt Fork Ranch

¨ $45 includes the ride, some trail grub, and a clinic by Curt Pate

¨ Pre registration and payment is mandatory by April 18; 100 rider limit

¨ This is an All Breed trail ride. All horses must have a current Coggins

¨ Register by filling out box #4 of the "Official Entry Form," and mailing it in with $45 payment

Region-8 Experience Trail Ride

Saturday - May 10, 2008

Join us at the historical Salt Fork Ranch for the first ever Regional Experience AQHA Trail Ride.

WHAT: "Region-8 Experience Trail Ride" an official part of the Region-8 Experience and a recognized AQHA Ride Program event (open to all breeds)

WHEN: Saturday May 10, 2008; check-in between 8:00 AM & 9:00 AM - ride starts at 10:00 AM

WHERE: Salt Fork Ranch, 47 miles S/E of Amarillo, Texas on US HWY 287 (between Claude and Clarendon).

Originally part of the historic Goodnight "JA" Ranch, the Salt Fork Ranch straddles the beautiful Salt Fork of the Red River. Over 22,000 acres of a real Texas working cattle ranch made available to the AQHA and the Region-8 Experience for a once in a lifetime trail ride experience. Many thanks to ranch owners Gary and Melle Fletcher for their great Texas hospitality!

Lodging/Stalling:

Camper hook-ups and horse stalls are available as part of the Region-8 Experience at the Tri-County Fair Grounds in Amarillo for a fee.

Registration:

The ride fee is $45.00 and includes a "cowboy" meal. The ride is limited to the first 100 paid riders. Closing date for registration is April 18th. Send registration to Region-8 Experience Show Managers, Carol & Don Moore (www.mane-events.com).

Horse Health Requirements:

Negative coggins and a 30-day Health Certificate required.
