Region 8 Championship Horse Show & QUARTER HORSE SHOWS ALL-AROUND AWARDS To be eligible for all-around honors, a horse in the open division, novice amateur and/or amateur,
select, novice youth and/or youth must compete in at least three AQHA-approved events in one division in three or more categories.
In the youth and amateur divisions
the all-around is figured on a one horse one rider combination. In novice youth, novice amateur and select classes, the all-around
will be figured the same as open, amateur and youth divisions with one exception: The exhibitor may choose to show in a youth
or amateur halter class and have that halter class count toward the respective novice or select all around. An exhibitor competing toward two all-around divisions must designate
prior to showing which all-around division the halter class will apply toward. No other class shall be eligible to carry over
for the novice or select all-around. For additional rules governing the tabulation of all-around points, please refer to Rule
417 of the AQHA Official Handbook of Rules and Regulations. a.
In case of a tie, the winner will be determined in the following manner:1. The horse earning points in the greatest
number of classes will be the winner.2. The horse placing over the greatest number of entries in the classes
in which it competed will be the winner.3. The horse placing over the greatest number of entries in the classes
in which it competed will be the winner.b. No formal entry is necessary.

special award will be given to the amateur entry earning the greatest number of points while meeting the requirements specified
below in competition at the Region 8 Championship Horse Show & Experience. Category I Amateur HalterCategory
